December can be a really difficult month for some of us. On Sunday, Dec. 12, at 1:30 p.m., we will be offering a Blue Christmas liturgy to the community as a time to gather in sacred space, sing, hear God’s word, light candles, and talk openly about what it feels like to be out-of-step with everyone else at this time of year. We invite you to join us and discover how a babe born in a manger can bring wholeness to our sometimes-broken lives. Because Christ was born for this.
We will be worshiping every day during the season of Advent, and invite you to join us. Principal weekend worship is on Saturdays at 5:30 p.m. and Sundays at 9:30 a.m. Morning Prayer is prayed Mondays through Fridays at 8:30 a.m. Evening Prayer is prayed Wednesdays at 6:15 p.m. Join us in this holy season of waiting.

Join us for in-person worship four days a week, including weekend Saturday (5:30 p.m.) and Sunday (9:30 a.m.) liturgies, or weekday liturgies on Wednesdays (7 p.m.) and Thursdays (10 a.m.). You can also join us online on Sunday mornings as we live-stream our 9:30 a.m. worship.
We will close the Christmas season as we always do, with a celebration on the evening of the 12th Day of Christmas, January 5th. We’ll gather in our separate homes during the pandemic, but we’ll hear readings, sing and make merry. Call the church office to receive an electronic invitation to join us virtually on Zoom.
We celebrate the 13th Sunday after Pentecost on Sunday, August 30. Worship begins at 9:30 a.m. We will go live at about 9:15 a.m. with music while people join in to prepare for worship.

Music has always been central to Lutheran worship. Our Saturday, 5:30 p.m., worship includes spoken liturgy and one hymn. Our Sunday worship at 9:30 a.m. includes sung liturgy led by organ and choir. During the pandemic, singing is done by a cantor.
